Guadalajara one day

Discover the hidden treasures of Guadalajara and the famous sights of one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico.

Departure at 6 am from your hotel, your driver will take you to the city of Guadalajara, famous for its traditions, mariachi and tequila. On the way the first stop will be in the town of Magdalena to have breakfast in a traditional restaurant from the years gone by. The arrival in Guadalajara city will be around noon; the first stop is the historical center of Guadalajara where you will have a walking tour. Your host takes you to visit the Cathedral, the Degollado Theater, the Rotonda of Illustrious Men, the Government Palace, the Hospice Cabañas, and famous Orozco murals. Then your guide will take you to have lunch in a wonderful and colorful restaurant in downtown Guadalajara (to be paid separately). Upon completion, a wonderful tour of Tonala and Tlaquepaque to buy souvenirs and return back to your hotel at 7 pm, to arrive around 11 pm. A great day for all !

San Sebastian del Oeste

Leaving at 8 am from your hotel , your driver will head toward the beautiful mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental to get to this picturesque town which was a mining town in the seventeenth century. This town is 2300 meters high above the sea and in its heyday era of mine could have around 25,000 people. Your guide will take you to breakfast at a traditional restaurant of the area (not included). In the town you will have a walking tour , your guide will take you through the small streets of the village, a visit to the church that dates from 1800, visiting old houses, the coffee factory and the Hacienda Jalisco, which in its prime was the place to receive the gold and silver minerals that were coming from the mines. This site now has been converted into a museum. In the outskirts you will be able to see panoramic views of the town and the breathtaking sierra madre. Return back to your hotel at 3 pm, to arrive around 5 pm

Sayulita, San Pancho, San Blas

Leaving at 8 am your host for this trip will take you northwards to the heavenly beaches of Nayarit for a romantic and breath-taking breakfast at 9.30 in Guayabitos (to be paid separately), then a tour of Sayulita and San Pancho - known as attractive places to surf. Afterwards, your driver will take you through the lush, grren farming and agricultural areas of Las Varas and Zacualpan towns, then reaching the town of San Blas at noon.

The ecological environment is still preserved in its virgin form, so the journey is an unforgettable trip to have an absolute and spritual bonding with nature. During the crossing you will find sections where the lush vegetation of mangroves virtually obscure the road. The tour will also allow you to see a diversity of fauna consisting of a beautiful variety of wild birds and turtles and some crocodiles. At the end of the trail, youll see the birth of spring, which forms a large pool of clear water. A photographer's delight ! At the end of the tour you will have a time free and your guide will take you to Playa Los Cocos to enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant (not included). Return back around 4PM, to arrive in your hotel around 6.30.

Tequila, Ixtlan , Magdalena

A unique experience to discover an archeological zone, visit the opal mines and learn the process of the tequila elaboration, all in one tour. Departure at 6 am from your hotel, your driver will take your to the archaeological zone of Ixtlan del Rio, where you can enjoy the visit to Los Toriles a site that was inhabited since 300 BC up to 600 A.D. after an hour the second stop will be the town of Magdalena, know for the opal mines where you will have the opportunity to explore a mine, and feel like a real miner. After exploring the mine, your guide will take you to the town of Tequila, the place which gave its name to the famous drink, the visit to one of the most famous haciendas where you can learn the process of the tequila elaboration and if you want also you can taste or buy any products that are for sale. Afterwards your guide will take you to a typical restaurant to have lunch (to be paid separately) . Return back to your hotel at 3 pm to arrive around 7 or 8 pm

Mascota, Talpa de Allende

Leaving at 7 am from your hotel, your host for the day will head towards the Sierra Madre to reach the town of Mascota - that dates from 1800. After breakfast in a local and traditional restaurant, the tour of the area becomes an adventure because of the number of colonial buildings that can be admired, wonderful photography, the streets are paved from a natural setting, there are roofs of houses covered by thick mud and hold high walls and gates that frame the entrances..... then leading to patios and gardens surrounded by central corridors. After an hour tour your driver will take you to Talpa de Allende, a town dated from the fifteenth century and considered one of the most important religious centers in the West of Mexico. With its 25 churches and a visit to the main church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, the visit also includes a stop at the small factory where you can see the process of making traditional sweets of the region. Afterwards your guide will take you to a local restaurant to eat a delicious lunch (not included). Return back to your hotel at 3 pm, to arrive at 6 pm.

Mismaloya, Botanical Gardens , El Tuito

This tour will give you the opportunity to see the nature of the south shore , the mountains of the Sierra Madre, and the spectacular views of the bay and the forest. (Do not forget your camera!) Leaving 8 am from your hotel, your driver will head to the South of the Bay; your first stop will be on the road to Mismaloya to take pictures of Los Arcos. These are natural rock formations in the middle of the sea forming a natural ecosystem inhabited by pelicans, gulls and other seabirds, and is also a favorite place to practice diving and snorkeling. Another stop will be at the viewpoint of the Bay of Mismaloya and Boca de Tomatlan where you can take pictures of the spectacular views of the sea and the mountains. Afterwards your driver will take you to El Tuito, a traditional town located in the middle of the Sierra Madre surrounded by the pines forest, a walking tour through its picturesque streets, a visit to the plaza,and the main church. This place is famous for the raicilla a typical drink which is similar to Tequila and comes from an agave, the panela cheese and the typical cookies. Upon return, your guide will take you to lunch at a quaint local restaurant, then will make a stop at Chicos Paradise or the Botanical Gardens in las Juntas y Los Veranos town, where you can visit the St. Crispin Tequilera, have lunch (not included ). Return back around 3.30 pm, to arrive in your hotel around 4.30PM.
